Irrational Fear of Bubbles

Sorry, it's been a while since my last post. Things have been good here, Ayden (i think) is cutting yet another tooth. It's SO cute to see his big two tooth grin. But I think that he is cutting another one, he has been so grumpy the last couple of days. Yesterday I went to the store and picked up some bubbles. I was SO sure he would just love them and have some fun with them. The first couple of times I blew them he would just take a deep breath, like he was scared of them and bracing himself. Then one got a little too close and he flipped out! Like screaming and crying! He hates them, and I think he hated me for blowing them. Brian picked him up and comforted him, and he was just glaring at me! It's just so silly, my baby has an irrational fear of bubbles!

my big baby and the coupon lady

So first of all, I would really like to know what happened to my little baby. He is changing so much so fast! He is full blown crawling now AND sitting up. It's kind of sad cause when he sits up he is really unstable and wobbly, and he falls like straight back and cries. It's so sad and I'm so paranoid that he's gonna fall back on the edge or corner of something and get hurt. And just the other day he's been trying to climb up and stand up. He is getting really playful too. He will crawl over to me all excited with a big smile on his face and try to climb up on me. It's so cute, I just love it!
Okay and now the coupon lady. So I spent forever grocery shopping at fry's and came home and made dinner. Brian has been trying to get me to make a Texas Sheet Cake forever for him. So Im almost done making the batter when it calls for vanilla, we have none. So, I gotta run BACK out to the store and get some. I get what I need and go to check out and all the lines are totally full, and of course I get in the totally wrong line. I get behind this lady with a TON of stuff in her cart. She's got like 20 things of brownie mix, 20 cake mixes, 20 things of cookie mixes among some other groceries. So Im like that's okay it shouldn't be too bad they should be able to scan em pretty fast, which they did. But then she pulls out this stack of coupons like 2-3 inches thick! Im not kidding! She had like 100 coupons! I was just like, you have got to be kidding me. I had only a couple of things and she couldn't just let me go in front of her! Okay, so then after they scanned all of her coupons some of them didn't work and she was making a big huge deal out of it, the lady who worked there was like you may want to go in another line. So then I had to wait behind a bunch more people in another line! I was so annoyed. While they were scanning her coupons her daughter was like I want a candy bar, so her mom was like okay but you have to get these one's and you have to get 16 of them so I can use this coupon! Who in the world need's 16 candy bars, or a million cake mixes, and brownie mixes, and cookie mixes, and all the other junk she had in her cart. Anyway's, so I vented to Brian about this on the way home and he just laughed at me saying that that is what I am going to turn into cause of how into coupons I'm getting. But I really wouldn't ever do anything like that. She got hundreds of dollars worth of stuff for only a couple of cents (yes, she only ended up paying a couple of cents!). I think that's taking it too far and pretty much totally ripping off the store. I LOVE using coupons and getting good deals, but I think that some people take advantage of the deals and get carried away. Anyway's I'm done venting and I'll post some cute pictures of Ayden from the last couple of day's.

Here are some sleeping one's:
Just thought this was cute, he was all cuddled in the corner while taking a nap.
This one cracks me up. We left the room for like a second and came back and he was totally passed out in his exersaucer. So funny cause he's standing too! So stinken cute!

Here are some play one's:

Brian's throwning him in the air, he LOVES this!Being thrown. Can't see his face but you can see he's screamingBrian tickling Ayden
Here he is sitting up, it's so funny it look like he's trying to show you something.

Jungle Book addiction

First of all I want to announce that my little baby had his first tooth break through. I knew it was coming cause he has been understandably grumpy these days. I can't believe how fast he is growing up! I dont know where the time is going.
Second of all, Ayden is totally addicted tothe Jungle Book. It is the wierdest thing ever! He doesn't like anything else. At first we thought maybe it was just because we didn't have hardly any other movies for him to watch, so we bought Aladdin. I thought he'd love it with all the colors and everything, but nope he cried when we turned it on. So then we thought we'd do a little experiment. We turned on the Jungle Book, totally captivated. Switched it to Aladdin, cried! Switched it back to Jungle Book, quiet! What a little booger! So then came our next theory, maybe he likes the animals. So we got A Bug's Life, and nothing! Didn't care in the least. It's just so weird, he will be screaming his head off and as soon as he see's even the previews he get's all excited! I mean even just watching the previews he know's whats coming! What a smart but weird little baby. Anyway's with this teething going on I guess I should just be happy that there is SOMETHING that calms him down. Poor little guys is in so much pain, the least I can do is give up my TV and let him watch as much Jungle Book as he wants! :)

Fun Stuff

Here is a little questionaire thing I got from my sister in-laws blog. It looked fun :)
10 years ago:
I was a very geeky 7th grader
Snacks I enjoy:
I dont think there is a snack I dont enjoy, but barbeque potatoe chips are my favorite.
5 things on my to-do list:
1. Clean my house (it'll never happen)
2. Finishing painting Ayden's room and our bedroom
3. Go to sleep earlier (Ayden wakes up earlier and earlier)
4. Visit my family in Tucson, it's been too long
5. Do SOMETHING with my hair, it's looking bad!
Things I would do if I were made a billionaire:
I would have SO much fun! I'd first of all buy a house, then decorate it however I want. Buy clothes, toy's for Ayden. Buy my own scrapbook store. Brian can tell you, I dont have any trouble spending money. Let's just say, I'd have a good time.
3 of my bad habits:
1. Im super messy
2. I bite my lip (brian hates it when I do that)
3. Watch WAY too much TV
5 places where I have lived:
1. Long Beach, California
2. Somewhere in Maryland :)
3. Tucson, Arizona
4. Thatcher, Arizona
5. Chandler, Arizona
Jobs I have had:
Pre-school After care, K-5 After Care teacher, Copy room worker, crossing guard (yup, not the funnest job I've had), Hair salon receptionist, and going to beauty school (yes Im counting that, it was definitly work. Only worse, we have to pay THEM to work! :)).
Things people dont know about me:
Well, my family knows this, but I am REALLY messy. I LOVE bargain shopping, I have very rarely bought anything that wasn't on sale or clearance. When I had Ayden, I was SO scared when my water started breaking that I was in total denial, I stayed at home and watched Notting Hill and didn't go to the hospitol for 4 hours. I also lied during my first ultrasound of Ayden, I really couldn't see him :(.

Renee has turned me into a coupon FREAK!!!

So my sister got into coupons a while ago. She would alway's tell me all the deals she'd get and how she was saving all this money. Now previously when I thought of coupons I immediatly thought of a lady in our home ward who was like obsessed with clipping coupons and saving every cent. So it took me a while to look into this whole coupon thing. Renee started me out slowly telling me about some good deals and showing me where to get some coupons and stuff. Then, this whole coupon and saving money thing kinda took on a life of it's own. I am obsessed! I have been calling Renee like everyday talking about coupons and deals for free string cheese and other silly deals. But it is so fun! I have already saved SO much money and I just barely got started. Poor Renee has created a monster and now Im gonna bug her all the time about deals and coupons and stuff (SORRY Renee!!!). Anyway's its pretty fun learning how to save money, especially when you dont have much of it, every cent really does count :) And just so it wasn't a total waste of a post, here are a couple of pictures of Ayden ;)
Such a happy little baby, that smile makes my heart happy :)Passed out coldHe likes to be naked:)That milk dripping out of his mouth is so cute huh?!

shocker!

So I have been pretty out of it lately. We just barely got our Internet up and running in our new place and it has been a couple of weeks since I have really surfed the web. Yesterday I went to one of my favorite sites, People Magazine (I'm such a sucker for celebrity gossip), and saw that Heath Ledger had died. I was so sad! I had THE BIGGEST crush on him, I used to have a picture of him (and Johnny Depp :)) in my room at home. I wanted to marry him after I saw 10 things I hate about you! So sad that he died so young, especially with a little baby. Anyways I don't wanna go on and on about it, but it was just so sad. Make's you really think about your life and how you can make it better and make everyday count. Sorry for my little tribute post, but its just so sad!

Dont worry, we ARE alive!

So wow! This past month has been a crazy one! It's just been one crazy, stressful thing after another. So I'll try to make it as short and sweet as I can!
We had a really good Christmas, and got alot more stuff than we need or deserve! One of our favorite presents was our brand spankin new camera! Not just your everyday boring camera, but a REAL camera! We got a Cannon Rebel XT and it is SO awesome! I haven't had time to really figure it out yet but I have been fooling around a little and am just totally LOVING it! So get ready to view about a billion pictures that I have taken over the last month!
We are finally moved! Our old apartment had a split floor plan with stairs, which was so annoying once we had Ayden and we had to haul all of his stuff up and down the stairs. Well, we had a hard time finding a place that we liked and that was available at the right time so we wouldn't be homeless. We ended up finding a place that we really like, the only drawback is that we are on the third story! Which really isn't the greatest but not having to have all of Ayden's toys in the middle of our living room and can just throw them in his room is wonderful! Im just so happy that we are done moving! Poor Brian was SO pooped out having to move all the stuff up and down 3 stories! And on top of it all Ayden was super sick and SO grumpy!
So last but not least I'm gonna give an update on the little stinker! He got really sick on the first day of our move so I rushed him to the doctor's office to find out he had an ear infection, a bad case of thrush, and brochilitous (don't think I spelt that right?). We had to get this breathing machine that he had to breath medicine from every 4 hours. It was a tough week last week. Pretty much every time we put him down he would cry. So it was really hard being stressed out with moving and having to deal with a crying baby the whole time. We had to keep reminding ourselves that he didn't feel good and just wanted some comfort and love. So Ayden is feeling better now, although I think he has his first tooth coming in. Poor kid cant get a break! Ayden has also learned to crawl! Okay so it's more like scooting, but he is gettin around pretty good! Which for us is a nightmare! He just gets into EVERYTHING! He has toys surrounding him, but now the he is mobile none of those old baby toys are fun. He LOVES cords, plastic bags, and pretty much anything that is dangerous or messy for him to get into. I think our easy day's with Ayden are long gone!
Well, that's mostly everything! Sorry it was so long and I promise to be a better blogger in the future!

Everyone's Favorite baby, right!

Trying so hard to crawl he would some how get into this pose instead. We affectionately call it the stink bug pose.

Here are some of Brian's pictures:
