Day at the Park

Today I decided to get out of the house for a while and I took Ayden to the park. That boy LOVES being outside! Even if it's outside on the patio, he just loves it! Which kinda of stinks cause he has a city girl for a mommy :) I need to be better at taking him to the park more, he has so much fun. I tried to get some pictures taken, which is almost impossible because to be a step ahead of this kid you gotta be FAST! Anyway's here are some of the best, which aren't really too good but oh well!
Smiley!
He liked the swings
I LOVE watching him stand up, he sticks his little bum in the air, SO CUTE!
We have been seeing alot of this face lately, just a weird face he makes alot :) Finally got him to look at the camera!

Drama Queen

So I'm not sure if I believe that the whole terrible 2's things is limited to just the 2's. I'm pretty sure that Ayden has proved that 1 year olds can be just as terrible as the 2 year olds. He is just in this stage of CONSTANTLY getting into trouble and having meltdowns. I mean he has just been the biggest drama queen lately. You look at this kid wrong and he will throw himself completely down on the floor and cry, ALL DAY LONG. Brian and I are starting to go a little nuts with the whole tantrum thing. And after the whole penny fiasco we have been so paranoid about him sticking things in his mouth, which is stupid because no matter what we do he puts EVERYTHING in his mouth. It's like all day is just so dramatic and tiring. Don't get me wrong, he is still the sweet, smiley baby we all know and love, just in smaller doses of the sweet and smiley :) Anyways, hopefully this is not going to continue the next 20 years or so.... here's to hoping!
Here is a little video we took tonight. I was trying to get a tantrum of his because he was throwing them right before I got the camera out. Then the camera comes out, and ta da! Happy smiley baby! But after having it out for a while we caught this weird little tired meltdown of his. Brian was making whining noises and Ayden was not liking it, so anyways here it is....
**Please note that we are not mean, cruel parents who like to see their kid cry, but I mean this goes on 24/7 so it has become a little more ridiculous than sad. He is a pretty cute, sad baby!**

Back In The Swing of Things

This weekend we went to Pima in hopes that we would catch some baby action with Paul and Stephanie (her due date was a few day's ago, SO sorry Stephanie!), and to return Brian's parents car (no more Lexus, sniff sniff!). We had alot of fun down there this weekend. We hung out with Paul and Stephanie, and Clint and Tiffany and had alot of fun watching movies and playing games. Brian took Ayden for his first four wheeler ride in circles around the back yard. Ayden was not too impressed with the whole thing. He had his little hands back into Brian like he was scared to death. Maybe next year we'll try again! :) I also did Robin's hair (which Don and Brian were annoyed by how long it took me), but I had fun and I think it turned out REALLY good. Well, here are some pictures of Ayden's first four wheeler ride!
P.S.- Good Luck with that baby Stephanie, dispite what it feels like now, it WILL come out! :) Hang in there!
He looks a little scared, a little intense

He likes it when its stopped! :)His little hand was digging into Brian

Penny Crisis Over!

Yay! He finally did it! One day after his x-ray the penny made an appearance! It was actually really funny how it happened. He had woken up from his nap and was awfully quiet in his room for a while. Brian went in to check on him and found a poop covered Ayden sitting his crib. It was EVERYWHERE! On his blankets, sheets, wall, the crib, and all over him. I had Ayden and was giving him a bath while Brian did some diaper searching and he found it! He actually almost missed it cause it happened to be almost the exact color of the poo. Okay... anyways, we got it and Im excited and am vacumming our entire house like everyday! No more swallowing things for Ayden (hopefully!). We took a picture of it and kept the penny, but I'll spare everyone from having to see the poopy penny, it's bad enough having to hear all about it! ;)

Penny Watch '08

So Thursday Ayden swallowed a penny (surprise, surprise! I'm actually shocked that he hasn't swallowed anything until now seeing as he puts EVERYTHING in his mouth). I'm actually the big person to blame because I was playing with him and I didn't realize he had it in his mouth and I think that's what made him swallow it. Let me tell you, it is absolutely terrifying to be home alone with your baby that is choking! It was so scary and something I never want to have to go through again. So we have been checking his diapers since then waiting for it and it still hadn't come, so I called his doctor and she told me what I had been dreading, we have to go get an x-ray. Let me also tell you, x-rays are NOT cheap! So after dishing out a ton of money for an x-ray they told us that there was indeed a penny in there BUT they couldn't tell where it was because usually babies have gas in their tummy's and since Ayden had no such gas (which is crazy, because Ayden is the gassiest baby I know) they didn't know where it was. So NOW, we have to wait 3 day's and if no penny shows up we have to take him BACK and pay again for another x-ray. This penny is ending up costing us an arm and a leg so lets just hope this thing shows up. All I can say for Ayden is, sorry in advance for all the prunes your gonna be eating in the next 3 day's. We DO have something to show for all the money lost, here is Ayden's X-Ray. It's kinda cool to look at and you can see the penny (It's right in the middle of the pic) :)

swim fun

So while Ayden is napping I thought I'd post some pictures and a video from going swimming today. I got this life jacket at CVS today on clearance for $4.99, all their summer stuff is 75% off so if you have a CVS near you definitly go check it out. They had a ton of kid toys, swim stuff, beach chairs, and coolers on clearance! But anyways here are some pictures taken with our little camera (they are pretty grainy, I am way too spoiled with our Cannon Rebel!) and a video. The video is pretty lame but Im posting it for my mom so she can see him in action! Love you Mom :

Labor Day Pics

This weekend we went up to Mount Graham for Labor Day. We go up every year because they have a potluck dinner and church up on the mountain for all the cabin owners every Labor Day. It was so much fun because all of Brians family went up there and some friends. It was fun to spend time with the family and especially playing games with all the grown ups at night! :) Ayden had SO MUCH FUN up there. He loved walking around outside and exploring. He was so wobbly and fell ALOT but he hardly ever cried. Here are about a million pics of this weekend!

Being SillyBrian and Ayden He was pretty wobbely walking up there
