Dark Knight and Good Deals

So every once in a while I go to the movies by myself. I dont know why, but its fun for me to just get away and go zone out by myself at the movies. Last night I saw Dark Knight. Not the smartest move I ever made seeing as how Im the biggest baby when it comes to scary movies. Right before the movie started this family walked in with a little girl, around 6 or 7 years old. I was thinking, oh great I hope they dont sit by me cause this little girl is gonna be freaking out the entire movie. So of course they sit right by me! I was scared to death most of the movie, sitting there with my hands covering my ears and not looking up most the time, I even nearly jumped out of my seat a few times because of things popping out. About halfway through the movie I realized I hadn't heard a peep from the little girl, so I look over at her and she's just sitting there watching the movie, not scared at all. I kept looking over at her the whole time and she was totally fine! I felt so stupid for being scared when this little girl was fine!

Okay, on to the good deals. Here are a few good deals that I have heard of lately.*McDonalds has a coupon out here: http://http//www.facetheglory.com/?bannerid=coupon. It's for a free Southern Style Chicken Sandwich if you buy a med. or large soft drink, and since McDonalds large drinks are on sale for $1 right now, you can get a drink and a sandwich for $1! I actually LOVE this sandwich, so I was excited about the coupon and for a $1 who can complain. A tip for printing is when the window pops up to choose a printer (it does that on my computer, not sure if it does on everyone's) change the amount of copies to however many you want. I am printing out quite a few because I have had deals become unavailable because of so many people trying to use it. Anyway's I got this deal from http://moneysavingmom.com/
*Another good deals I have seen is from Hobby Lobby, for those of you who like to sew they have McCall sewing patterns on sale for $1! Which is great cause they go anywhere from $8-17! You get the first 10 for $1. They also have a 40% off coupon here: http://www.hobbylobby.com/site3/weekly/weekly.cfm

nothing much going on

So my new favorite thing is renting movies from the library (cheap form of entertainment :)), and they had all the seasons of Felicity there. I thought it would be fun to try and watch something new, so I got seasons 1 and 2. It's actually really good. Im almost done with the first season, and boy is it addicting! It's funny cause it's one of those shows that were WAY too cool for me to watch when I was younger, but I always wanted to watch. It's also funny because shows like this were too racy back then, but now are so tame! Anyway's if you get a chance, give Felicity a try, its pretty good. ALSO, if anyone uses Alavert allergy medicine I have a 18 tablet pack. It was a money maker at CVS so I got it. If you want it just let me know!

New Baby Sling

I just added a new baby sling to my etsy store. I LOVE it! Im making one for myself (doesn't really help with the whole trying to MAKE money out of this thing, but oh well)! So I have only sold 1 sling, which is fine. I was just so excited to get that first sale. And it was bought from someone from Safford notheless! I always knew the best people came from over there :)! Anyways just a little update about my store, and if you know anyone who is looking for a baby sling send them over to the store!

Breaking Dawn letdown and SYTYCD prediction!

***update- okay so I just wanna talk more about the book ( cant let go of the fact that the book is over :)). It wasn't that I hated the book, I actually really LOVED the first part of it. It just seemed like the characters got lost somewhere along the way. Edward and Bella seemed like completely different people by the end of the book, and the tone of the book was just so different from the other one's. Which is probably what she was going for, I guess I just missed the old Edward and Bella when they were just teenagers in love :) They grew up to fast for me. But overall it was a good book and Im sad it's over. Oh, and also I could totally picture Edward as the Edward thats gonna be in the movie, but I just CANNOT picture kristen Stweart as Bella! Anyone else feel that way?***
So I NEVER thought I would say this, but I have to say that I sorta thought Breaking Dawn was a letdown! I won't give anything away for those who haven't read it yet, and just because I didn't love it doesnt mean tons of other people didnt! I think I was just expecting too much, and Im NEVER able to do this but I guessed every huge thing that happened throughout the book. I dont know if it was predictable or if Im psychic, but I knew everything that was gonna happen not far into the story. I didn't really like the direction she took the characters and the story, maybe too much too soon. But I guess it was alright. I do have to say something though, Renessme!?!?! Eck!
Id also like to put it out there that I think Katie is going to win tonight! I think it will come down to her and Joshua, but I think she SHOULD win! But we will see I guess!

Jennifer had her baby!

Jennifer had a beautiful baby boy and he is SO adorable! His name is Kyler (hope Im spelling this right!) and he is TINY! I can't believe how tiny he is. I don't believe that Ayden was EVER that little. He seems huge to me now! We went to Snowflake Saturday and spent the day with Brian's parents, Jen and Reggie, and Brendan and Katie + all the kiddos. It was fun just hanging out, gawking over a cute newborn, and talking with the girls. Ayden was so funny walking around and trying so hard to fit in with the other kids. He LOVES his cousin Landon and followed him around quite a bit. I felt sorry for Landon, because Im sure Ayden was annoying him :) It was pretty cute! Well, I just want to say congratulation to Jennifer, Reggie, and Kyler!

Cousin LoveHe kept reaching over and touching and poking Landon, poor Landon!

Anyway's, if anyone knows anyone having a baby or going to a baby shower please let them know about blingslings! Here is a link to my store http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6067167

So much to say!

So I'll start with an update of Ayden. SO much has changed in the last week. He is now full-blown walking! He has been warming up to it for the last month or so, kinda taking a few steps away from furniture but falling soon after. He just wasn't too into it. Until about a week ago, I was at the computer and Ayden was crawling up to me when out of NO WHERE he all of the sudden stands on his own in the middle of the floor! It probably sounds lame, but I was SO proud! From that day on, he was determined! It is so cute, he still falls alot but instead of giving up and crawling he stands right back up and tries to walk again (even when he falls a million times in a row). He is getting pretty good now, and falls alot less. I guess this means I have to put shoes on him now! Now this is kinda of weird, but Ayden now loves pacifiers! I know this is horrible thing for me to allow, but he is teething again and anything that makes his poor little mouth feel better I'll give him! It's weird though, cause he never liked pacifiers as a baby. So it probably does just feel good on his gums. And I sure feel for him, I have a tooth ache and have to go to the dentist next week, yuck!

Things have been pretty normal around here. I have made it my new mission in life to be as frugal as possible. Im trying to do 2-week grocery shopping trips (instead of going a million times to pick up things I missed), I'm trying to limit my coupon deals to only things that I need (just because I can get it for almost free, doesn't always mean I should :)), and I'm trying to think of more free activities to do. See, my problem is that I hate spending a whole day not leaving the house, which usually costs some kind of money (gas, food, shopping, etc...). I'm, using the pool in our complex, going to the park, going to the library (which by the way, has an awesome selection of movies! I've watched all the 3 seasons of Grey's Anatomy and some I Love Lucy's so far!). My mom was so good when we were little to find fun and alot of times free activities and I want to do the same for Ayden, I just have to get a little creative.

I have been busy the last few weeks sewing baby slings for people. EVERYBODY is pregnant right now, we also have friends that are in the process of adopting! It's always this way, everyone gets pregnant (but me) and then I get baby hungry. It hasn't hit me YET, but I know by the time the last of the babies are here I'll be so surrounded by cute little newborns, it'll get me. I have been thinking about selling baby slings on-line. I am still trying to figure things out, but I'm really thinking about it. It would be so nice to have a way to make some money and still be home with Ayden. I just still have a lot to figure out, so we'll see! Anyway's this is WAY too long of a blog so Im gonna spare everyone and say goodbye!

Here is Ayden taking some of his first steps
