Jennifer had her baby!

Jennifer had a beautiful baby boy and he is SO adorable! His name is Kyler (hope Im spelling this right!) and he is TINY! I can't believe how tiny he is. I don't believe that Ayden was EVER that little. He seems huge to me now! We went to Snowflake Saturday and spent the day with Brian's parents, Jen and Reggie, and Brendan and Katie + all the kiddos. It was fun just hanging out, gawking over a cute newborn, and talking with the girls. Ayden was so funny walking around and trying so hard to fit in with the other kids. He LOVES his cousin Landon and followed him around quite a bit. I felt sorry for Landon, because Im sure Ayden was annoying him :) It was pretty cute! Well, I just want to say congratulation to Jennifer, Reggie, and Kyler!

Cousin LoveHe kept reaching over and touching and poking Landon, poor Landon!

Wow, so the last few day's have been pretty crazy. I have been setting up a store on etsy. com to sell my baby slings! They are called blingslings and have little some diamonds sewn on. They are also completely reversible. It's pretty scary for me to put them out there, I just hope SOMEBODY buy's them! hehe! Anyway's, if anyone knows anyone having a baby or going to a baby shower please let them know about blingslings! Here is a link to my store http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6067167
Im am so excited about this new little idea that I am trying and I can't wait to see what happens!

So much to say!

So I'll start with an update of Ayden. SO much has changed in the last week. He is now full-blown walking! He has been warming up to it for the last month or so, kinda taking a few steps away from furniture but falling soon after. He just wasn't too into it. Until about a week ago, I was at the computer and Ayden was crawling up to me when out of NO WHERE he all of the sudden stands on his own in the middle of the floor! It probably sounds lame, but I was SO proud! From that day on, he was determined! It is so cute, he still falls alot but instead of giving up and crawling he stands right back up and tries to walk again (even when he falls a million times in a row). He is getting pretty good now, and falls alot less. I guess this means I have to put shoes on him now! Now this is kinda of weird, but Ayden now loves pacifiers! I know this is horrible thing for me to allow, but he is teething again and anything that makes his poor little mouth feel better I'll give him! It's weird though, cause he never liked pacifiers as a baby. So it probably does just feel good on his gums. And I sure feel for him, I have a tooth ache and have to go to the dentist next week, yuck!

Things have been pretty normal around here. I have made it my new mission in life to be as frugal as possible. Im trying to do 2-week grocery shopping trips (instead of going a million times to pick up things I missed), I'm trying to limit my coupon deals to only things that I need (just because I can get it for almost free, doesn't always mean I should :)), and I'm trying to think of more free activities to do. See, my problem is that I hate spending a whole day not leaving the house, which usually costs some kind of money (gas, food, shopping, etc...). I'm, using the pool in our complex, going to the park, going to the library (which by the way, has an awesome selection of movies! I've watched all the 3 seasons of Grey's Anatomy and some I Love Lucy's so far!). My mom was so good when we were little to find fun and alot of times free activities and I want to do the same for Ayden, I just have to get a little creative.

I have been busy the last few weeks sewing baby slings for people. EVERYBODY is pregnant right now, we also have friends that are in the process of adopting! It's always this way, everyone gets pregnant (but me) and then I get baby hungry. It hasn't hit me YET, but I know by the time the last of the babies are here I'll be so surrounded by cute little newborns, it'll get me. I have been thinking about selling baby slings on-line. I am still trying to figure things out, but I'm really thinking about it. It would be so nice to have a way to make some money and still be home with Ayden. I just still have a lot to figure out, so we'll see! Anyway's this is WAY too long of a blog so Im gonna spare everyone and say goodbye!

Rub a Dub Dub

It's so funny watching Ayden grow and his personality change. I don't know if there is such a thing as the terrible 1, but if there isn't there should be! Ayden has changed in the attitude department ever since he turned one and he can be a real stinker sometimes. His new thing is throwing little tantrums, like when we tell him no or take something away he's getting into. He throws his arms up and down and if you are unfortunate enough to be in the vicinity he hits you! And not on accident, he hits you and then gives a mean, crusty look. He did it to me the other day and I hit is hand (not hard of course) and told him not to hit. Brian just laughed at me and asked how I could hit him and then tell him not to hit. It's so frustrating, I don't know what to do when he acts like that. I don't want to spank our kids, but I don't know how to discipline him when he does something like that. This new little attitude is kinda scaring me! I don't know what is happening to my happy, smiley boy! Don't get me wrong, he still is happy and smiley, I guess he is just leaving the baby stage and entering into a terrifying world of being a toddler. Scary! He was such a stinker today and I was eyeing the clock all night to see if it was 8 o'clock yet (his bedtime). Finally he was just in such a bad mood that I decided to give him a bath. It was like night and day. He was having such a good time in there! It was so cute. It's funny how 5 minutes of him being cute and smiley erases all the frustration I had during the day. Anyways here are some pictures of him in his bath!
His two little front teeth are so cute! I LOVE them!
(Brian makes fun and say's they are like goofy's teeth :( )
He loves putting his hand under the running water, even though he get's a face full of waterHe is very into small round details, like buttons or screws in things. Weird, huh!

How could a baby this cute have been a little stinker all day!?!

Memoirs of a Geisha

I just finished reading Memoirs of a geisha (the novel) and I thought it would be fun to watch the movie again. I just LOVE this movie! I could watch it over and over again. I think that it's the only movie I have ever seen made from a book that was even better than the book! I thought anyways. And the book was really good too! I think I loved this movie even more when Jaime and Hok from last season of So you think you can Dance did the hummingbird and the flower dance to music from the movie. Nothing better than combining my favorite movie AND TV show! It was one of my all-time favorite dances from last season. Has anyone been watching So you think you can Dance this season? I just LOVE this show! I was VERY disappointed last night when Matt got voted off. I really liked him! My favorite girls are Katee, Chelsie, and Kherington. My favorite guys are Twitch, Gev, and Matt (so sad :( )
I would also like to know, how much do you spend on groceries each week?!? I try so hard to spend as little as I can and today I spent like $15 dollars more than what I normally spend! I didn't get anything extra or anything just mostly what I normally get. Is it just me or does it seem like grocery prices are going like WAY up? Maybe it's just me, I really want to try and do what money saving mom does and stick to a $45 dollar a week limit. But I don't know how that's possible.
Anyways here is a little blast from past from last season of Jaime and Hok doing my favorite dance:

Day at the park (LOTS of pictures!)

Today was such a nice day outside (okay, nice for being the middle of the summer in phoenix), so I decided to take Ayden to the park. We tried taking him once before a few months ago and he was just not into it at all. But today he LOVED it! It was so fun seeing him get so excited about swinging, and going down the slide, and feeding the ducks. It was so much fun to go and spend the day with my baby. I'm really excited about this stage he is entering, where he can go out and do kid things and play. So much fun! It was just so nice to get out and do something, Ayden has been in a stge for a while where he needs Brian or Me to pay attention to him 24/7. He has been driving us CRAZY and it's always nice to change things up and do something different. Anyways, here are some pictures at the park and there is also a video from the other day. Ayden woke up from his nap and Brian jumped in his crib to try to get him back to sleep. I hear this hysterical laugh coming from his room and find Brian making sneezing noises and Ayden just cracking up! So much for calming him down, anyways it was pretty funny. I love how the dumbest things are hysterical to babies!
Not so sure about this whole swinging thing at firstThis isn't so bad
Cheesy smile

LOVES going down the slide! He totally just took off on his own sown the little path that goes through out the jungle gymtaking off, he went fast!feeding the ducks, he was loving all the birds coming right up to him!
